Burgess Hill, East Sussex - THE HOMESTEAD has a country setting, in grounds of 7½ acres, at the end of a private lane, 300 yards from a country road on the north eastern outskirts of Burgess Hill, less than two miles from Haywards Heath
Peacefulness is enhanced by birds and wildlife, including ducks, foxes, badgers, squirrels, rabbits, the occasional deer and of course, our own free range hens.
All bedrooms are attractively decorated with colour co-ordinated bed linen, towels and bathrobes. Each has colour television, clock/radio/alarm, beverage tray, bottled mineral waters, central & supplementary heating & hair dryer, iron, trouser press, & ceiling fan.
We have an extensive and flexible breakfast menu including an eight item full English breakfast. Vegetarian and coeliac options are available.
On the ground floor we have:
one en suite King size (or twin) room; one en suite single room; our "Country View Suite", which is a self-contained suite of three rooms with a spacious lounge, fully equiped galley kitchen, king-sized bed and shower room/WC.
On the first floor we have:
one Superking double (or twin/triple) with en suite bathroom; one double with en-suite dressing/shower room.
We have a quality dining room, large indoor heated swimming pool, jacuzzi and broadband Internet access! Our home is strictly non-smoking and we are unable to accommodate children less than 12 years.
We are only 10 minutes walk from Wivelsfield main line railway station with:
3 trains per hour to Gatwick Airport (20 mins), Croydon (35 mins) & London (50 mins)
2 trains per hour to Brighton (15 mins)
1 train per hour to Lewes & Eastbourne
The town centre is about 1½ miles away.
