The local golf course lies adjacent to the farm, being one of over 50 courses within the Forth Valley area, and there are opportunities for fishing nearby. The Royal Highland show-ground near Edinburgh Airport which regularly features exhibitions, dog shows and other events, is only a 15 minute drive away.
Linlithgow is always well worth a visit for its historical connections, especially the famous Palace where Mary, Queen of Scots was born in 1542; and the Birkhill Fireclay Mine nearby has been preserved as an interesting visitor attraction.
