Iceni House is located in Coleridge Road, situated on favoured south side of the city. It is easy to find, being located just off the city's ring road. Iceni House has 5 double rooms and 1 single room. We are a ten minute walk or short taxi ride away from the railway station. Trains run to and from Cambridge regularly, from major airports and cities, including London. Ideal location for Bed & Breakfast.
All rooms are bright and airy, and have been individually designed to a high standard; providing comfort and charm. The rooms have been designed following different themes, offering a range of ambiances with both traditional and modern furnishings.
We offer two double rooms with en-suite facilities; Country Garden and The Boudecea.
Coastal Blue is a twin room with en-suite facilities.
We also offer two double rooms with shared bathroom facilities; Oriental Spice and The Courtyard Room. This is ideal as a suite for a family or larger party. The Courtyard Room offers a private courtyard for the use of the occupants.
There is a further double room with private bathroom facilities and bath. This is "Serenity" for the minimalist. All rooms are maintained to an excellent standard by the owners themselves. Breakfast is served at individual tables in the dining room.
If you are celebrating a special occasion, you can pre order champagne and flowers for your arrival.
All the rooms have colour televisions, radio alarm clocks, hairdryers and complimentary tea / coffee making facilities. An iron and ironing board is available on request. A communal payphone is provided for guests to use. High chair and cot are available for babies / toddlers. We are a non smoking establishment and are unable to cater for pets.
Iceni was a Celtic tribe living in Norfolk and Suffolk. They date back to AD61, the time of the Roman conquest on the South of Britain. Queen Boudicia ruled the Iceni people of East Anglia alongside her husband Prasutagus.
