Devon - Country house accommodation on the edge of Exmoor. Eight ensuite bedrooms including ground floor. Dinner, bed & breakfast with country-style Aga cooking. All set in eight acres of gardens, woodland, pond and paddocks.

Our comfortable Drawing Room has a small, well-stocked bar. The Library has a large selection of leaflets about the area, walks, and many books on natural history, biographies and fiction.
Our bedrooms vary quite a lot – one was the rector’s, one was his dressing room, another was the guest room where the Bishop would stay. They all have ensuite facilities including toilets and washbasins; six have baths with showers over whilst the other two have walk-in showers. All bedrooms are equipped with hot drink facilities, colour televisions, push-button radios, books and magazines.
Interesting food is an important ingredient of any holiday and we hope that you will enjoy our Aga-oriented style of cooking. There is a different dinner menu every day but the two menus below are representative samples. We take orders for dinner in the morning and this enables us to accommodate most dietary requirements. Our wine list offers a good and inexpensive selection.
Located at 750 feet above sea level, there are magnificent views over rolling hills and wooded combes to the Taw Estuary and Hartland Point in the far distance.
