County Cork - Bantry House sits on an elevated position over Bantry Bay in West Cork.
Your stay gives you an unique glimpse of one of the most historic and original stately homes in Ireland.
In the East wing of the house we have 6 double/twin rooms all ensuite, decorated in a classical yet contemporary style. The bathrooms are modern with underfloor heating. All our rooms overlook the italianate garden and two of our rooms have bay views.
Guests have their own private lounge with real fire to relax in. Our adjoining games room and honesty bar contains a magnificent billiard table.
Our guests are welcomed by the current owner of the house (direct descendant from the Earls of Bantry) which makes staying here an even more unique experience.
Breakfast is included in the price where you are served in our B&B dining room a traditional Irish Breakfast made with local products (our guests say we have one of the best breakfasts in Ireland), for those who do not wish to participate in the full Irish fayre, we offer, fruits, yoghurts, nuts and cereals. Honeycomb and freshly squeezed orange juice is also available.
We are pleased to welcome small groups and associations with interest in Heritage or Gardening perhaps, personal talks can be arranged with the owners and the head gardener.
Prices start from €80 per person per night in the Spring. We offer discounts for guests staying with us for more than 3 nights. Please ask on enquiry.
We are currently open for guests Mid-March to End October, however we are pleased to welcome groups of 10+ outside of these dates.
